Description
Not sure of the name of this beetle. This image was shot in Central NY. Closest match I have is a clown beetle but there are enough differences for me to doubt that is correct. Let me know in the comments what you think.

Why can't I take my eyes off the alien? The goofy little one in the middle with the green head, necklace and re-trimmed white shirt?!? Great pic, btw ;-)
