this bush has 3 or 4 buds waiting for spring. yesterday morning it was 62 at daybreak

This little rose tried so bravely to come out last year but failed. Such a shame after all that effort, but at least we are all able to see it via your capture and think about what might have been.

Awww...the image emotes surrender and hope at the same time~ Was working in an "affluent" area of Nashville yesterday, the large homes have lots of stone or brick walls which tend to create "micro-climates" for growing plants. I saw several beds of daffodils blooming full out. Usually don't see even the early ones until mid-March. Beautiful sunny day in the mid-60's.
