Description

St. Mary's by the Sea is a tiny, nondenominational, white-timbered chapel that was built in 1911 which is a nominee for prettiest church in the Land of Oz. It is located no more than 50m from the waters edge in Port Douglas, Queensland. The chapel is a favorite for weddings and there is a two year waiting list. Such a lovely church building! It's very much like the one in my home town. Of course here it was evergreens and not palms! LOL! (That gets me thinking in a whole different direction, about people bringing traditions with them ...) Beautiful photography, my friend. You really know how to use natural elements to frame your subject. Nicely done!
