Description

My part time job in retirement is to work for the lady funeral director you can see in this pic. The tractor and trailer was the means of transporting the 97 year old farmer to his grave about 1/2 mile away from the church. This was 2 days ago.

A FANTASTIC IMPRESSION AND CAPTURE, JEFF. so interesting to see the straw bale. it looks like the farmer has hidden himself in this bale, and at once he can comes 'up'. I KNOW THIS IS NOT A PICTURE TO MAKE JOKES ABOUT. I LIKE VERY MUCH TO SEE THIS KIND OF A FUNERAL, AS IF A PERSONAL WISH IS COMING TRUE, I GUESS. ASKING ME, ARE YOU ON THE CARRIAGE, JEFF?

No better way for him to go...and I am sure it put a smile on everyone's face. 97 is a ripe old age...RIP.

No disrespect intended, but I don't see anything sad about this scene. He was 97!!! What a cool way to go.

Tatworth isn't it Jeff, i was on my way to Axminster and saw all the cars parked on the verge. A very suitable vehicle for a farmers last journey

A very different hearse for his last journey! I think I'd like a horse and cart when I go.
