Description

This is another resource appreciation image I did for Foundation 3D. I love the old Space:1999 TV series. (I even bought it on DVD) Since this is a resource appreciation image I did not use my versin of the eagle. The original artists are credited on the image. For this image I was trying to go for the old 1970's special effects feel, sans the wires holding up the ships. But I also wanted to do something a little unique. Most of the old series Eagle shot were in space usinga a very high contrast of light and dark. Comments and critique always welcome.

A big favourite for me on those long lost Sunday afternoons of the 1970's Even now, the Eagle still looks great. Do you have the 'Network' digitally restored edition of Space 1999? If not, you are in for a treat!
