When I first laid eyes on Terragen 2, my first thought was 'What on earth have they done to TG9?'
Now that I have had time to play with it a bit, I know. The duckling has become a swan! The nuances of TG2 have to be seen to be believed and the more I learn, the better I like it. It's as I thought though, you need a damn good processor if you are going to get the render times down. Ho, hum. Shake the money box!

Beautiful sunset. Gorgeous colors and lighting. Still way too complicated for me, T2. I'll stick with TG9. :-) Corrie

nice sunset I feel the water needs to be less rougher or the wave scale increased. And yes one needs a good processor as most of my renders took overnight, on my new one well 12 hours now takes 30 minutes

Nice sunset !

The render above took 58 minutes, which I thought was a bit long for such a simple scene. This was using a Core 2 Duo 2.4 intel. which I understand is a bit weak for T2. Have to put some more coal on the fire!

Very nice work--and worth that extra render time--no matter how aggravating.
