One from "The Vaults" which was taken at Last Octobers LovEvolution which was held at the Oakland Colosseum, CA. Formerly known as LoveFest and San Francisco LoveFest, LovEvolution 2011 is back and ready to rock a brand new venue in the Bay Area. After location issues forced the even to be canceled in 2010, LovEvolution 2011 finds a new home in Oakland at the O.co Coliseum Grounds. Although what is considered the main event of LovEvolution will take place Saturday, September 24, 2011, there are official and affiliated events taking place daily from Wednesday, September 21st through Sunday, September 25th. From 2004 to 2009, LovEvolution (inspired by The Love Parade, which takes place every year in Berln) was held in the middle of downtown San Francisco. At that time the parade showcased 25 uniquely themed and wildly decorated floats and included thousands of festival goers flooding the streets, surrounding and supporting their favorite floats, and dancing their way from Market and 2nd Streets to the San Francisco Civic Center Plaza. Once all the floats completed the parade, the plaza would turn into an open-air festival grounds and that's when the real party would start! This year, the surroundings may be new but LovEvolution will still include a parade, a day and after party, and promises to create the same vibe and to spread the same message of diversity, tolerance, respect, unity, peace, and love.
