It is not easy to know what to write for things like this, for me. I wonder if anyone really cares about my life or what I think. Most of what I consider seems to be trite or just plain stupid.
What I do think is appropriate is to say thank you to everyone that takes the time to check out my pictures, those that leave comments, and to the friends that help with encouragement and advice. As the owner of the world’s slowest Internet connection (26.4 kbps on a good day), it is difficult to return the same courtesy. I hope that I will be forgiven for this.

Thanks. Part of the challenge was I couldn't pimp for comments and had to see if anyone would say anything good or bad.

Overall this is beautifully posed and lighted. It's very striking. Only thing I see that's a bit off is the models right knee which may be the result of the pose. Wish I could get a handle on multi-pass compositing. It's a subject that greatly eludes me. I think you met your challenge very well.

I see what you are talking about Tholian. It's mostly part of the morphs I used. The one for the VastusMedialus makes a huge lump on the leg and I believe it is what you are talking about. Understand I am not putting down multi-pass, it is an important tool for postwork. There is a great tutorial for DS3 that Callad did, posted in the tutorial section. The only problem with it is that it show what he did for that picture, not why he did it. The "why" is much harded to explain though and is often a matter of instinct than a defineable process. My problem with it is that for a long time I was seeing promo pictures for products and could never get anywhere near the same output. Was it me, my computer, or something I just did not "get"? I was feeling a bit of a failure. I stumbled across a posting of a picture that was used for a promo and the artist explained how he did it using multipass rendering. Since then, I just feel that promo pictures should be unaltered renders or identified as being postworked and included unaltered renders in the secondary promos. Just don't get me started about promos for Poser products rendered in higher end programs like Lightwave.
