Description

This is a view of the Denver, Colorado skyline on a pleasant early evening just a couple of days ago. The temperature was a comfortable 55 degrees F. Now we are buried under 2 feet of snow and the temperature is mid 20s. I can hardly wait for Spring. Thanks for stopping by.

Superb image but with an ominous feel to it. Something big is about to happen and, guess what, something did. Great work.

lol... 2 ft of snow? don't stand next to the Curb when the snow plow goes by - lol... as you know I live here and I saw the news reports we got 16 inches and it's the worst snow storm in February in Colorado since the early 1900s = lol... It snowed late on thursday, snowed most of frieday but melted so fast that you could see the black pavement.... I'm off of 44th and Kipling and we got under a foot of snow = AND - it's melting fast.... I swear, if the forecasters were here in the early 80s, they'd know what snow was - lol... my favorite blizzard? Blizzard of 82.... I drove my 66 mustang from colfax to 67th and Kipling AND DID NOT SEE ONE CAR ON THE ROAD DRIVING - NO PLOWS - NOTHING - that will never happen again and I'm so glad I was able to experience it - I should mention it was 3am = lol... but still, no cars, no plows, no cops - nothing.... so if you got burried under two feet, watch out for the plows - lol Excellent shot of home

I'm with you on the "can't wait until Spring" ...... the snow has been playing hide and seek here.. and this calm before the storm image I can relate to very well. It hasn't hit us hard yet, and we all just wait with anticipation, as its very unusual this time of year to be so "calm". An excellent depiction... hope the "calm"ness will stay :)
