Aplausos mil Magnificent protest my friend, the protection of so much greed at the expense of freedom of many is something extremely dangerous, as they do in the real world, now officially want to do in the virtual, making the human slave and incapable. Believe that this refers to piracy is making fun of our sanity. Applause one thousand

Wonderful image Ute! I share your concerns about SOPA, but at the same time realize they need to find a way to stop people from pirating copyrighted content. There is no possible defense to why these parasites on society feel it should be acceptable that they steal movies or songs and such and sell them. If anyone enjoys watching movies or listening to music they should be very worried. Why would anyone continue to keep spending the extrodinary amount of money it takes to make such things just to lose money on them because the pirates are selling their stuff at a fraction of the price since they didnt have to pay anything to create it. That is like if people went into my local bakery and stole all his bread and then if he protests they claim he is restricting thier right to free speech. Stealing content is not free speech it is theft. So yes I think SOPA is not the right way to address this, I do think there needs to be a way to protect people that create art from parasites that get rich by stealing from them.

Extremely cool render and composition, Ute. ACTA, SOPA and PIPA, stinks. They represent a very serious threat against, free speech, freedom, and democracy. The politicians from 39 countries, have been lurking with it for 3 years, deliberately trying to keep it away from the public eye. Maybe they are trying to sneak it in, by the back door. ACTA, SOPA and PIPA are the tools of fascism. Made by lobbyists in a non-democratic way. To surveil and control people, and punish people, only because of suspicion. ACTA goes for voting in the EU parlament in june 2012. So we still have a few months to demonstrate and protest. 1.660.000 protest mails against ACTA have been sent so far. Be sure to sign this protest: https://secure.avaaz.org/en/eu_save_the_internet_spread/

Hello Big Brother, do you think I was quiet today ? In any case, when free speech is confiscated by a little group of persons, it always gives some trouble. I agree that creators' copyright must be protected, but it shoudn't be a reason to go further in restrictions.

Don't forget the TPP which is being negotiated behind closed doors even as I type this. That's Trans-Pacific-Pact for those wanting to know more. What little has leaked about it indicates that its worse than SOPA/PIPA/ACTA all rolled into one. And we don't have a stake at the negotiation table. The USTR has completely cut out everyone but the RIAA/MPPA/Chamber of Commerce folks who tried to ramrod through SOPA/PIPA/ACTA. We are trying to crack the shell of secrecy surrounding this. What a fabulous protest image, Ute. You wouldn't believe the huge smile I got when I saw this fantastic render. That "Guy Fawkes" mask is just such a GREAT touch.

Excellent render and work, Ute!! Piracy and copyrights are one thing to defend but what's going on now are efforts to get control over the free net by some of big companies with their quite own agenda and more or less naive politicians!.. It is a direct threat to both open information exchange as well at the democry itself!! We need to stop them!!..
