Description
I'm posting this for 3d Age. He is trying to help me with her sweater. I'm having troubles figuring out how to get her sweater to sit down correctly on her legs. I also have a poke through where her leg bends at the hip. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Also any help anyone wants to give on anything on the overall poser I'd be grateful. Thanks.

There is propably sitting morph on the shirt try to find it in parameter dials, what i suggest you to, is set sitting morph first and after that go to each tight parts of the shirt and adjust bending down. This is common poser problem on thights area when thights are bend about 90 degrees and the best way to go around it is creator to make sitting morph, i believe you can find that morph :)
Callie
Mint, Thank you. There is a sitting morph on this shirt. I've tried playing with it some but I'm not also using other morphs beyond that. I'll go try your suggestions now.

It might be worth a try to make the lower pasrt of the vest Dynamic, but then you enter a whole new world in the Poser Doom. When everthing is settled, you might fight small poke-throughs using the Morph tool (second but last in the tool panel). When this gallery doesn't help, try posting the same in the forum.
Osper
You could also try using magnet(s) on the offending part(s) to put the darn thing where it belongs.

aRtBee, Thank you also. I bought this shirt from 3D Age and would have no idea how to make that dynamic. I've only been at Poser about a month. LOL. I have gotten semi efficient at using the morph tool, but am having troubles getting that hip area to cover up using the morph tool. Maybe I just need to hide my wheelchair again. I bet that is what I have to do there. I mainly posted this in my gallery because I emailed 3D Age about my trouble and had a difficult time describing my inability to get the shirt to lay down so they asked for a picture. Had no other idea of how to get them a picture of what I was trying to describe.

Osper, Magnets? I've heard of them, but never used them.. LOL. Someday I'll get as good at this as everyone else is... LOL.

Mint is correct and Small Lovely does have a sitting morph, start by this, small adjustments at a time, then you can select the parts that are giving you problems and adjust them individually...and keep trying different things...and show us what you come up with...its good to see your still at it!..
Hexekati
I would use dynamic clothing? Perhaps you can find a shirt?
Callie
Diemamker, I have played in Poser almost every day since I started. I really enjoy it, just really haven't seen much visual change since I last posted. Or so I thought until I looked at the last one up against this one. The morphing tool really gave me fits and still does about half the time so that is what takes up most of my working time. I'm going to work on the morphs now. Hexekati, I've never tried dynamic clothing. I'm thinking that might be the way to go after I learn it. So much to learn in this wonderful program that is Poser. Thank you both for your help and input.

I don't have that particular sweater by 3D-Age. If you could go into your Cloth Room and send me a screen shot of the material areas 3D-Age has. Knowing how he makes things, there most likely are several. 1. Make sure your preview is on Small Lovely. 2. Go down to the "3. Cloth Groups" 3. Click Edit Dynamic Group 4. A window will open. Click Soft Decorated and then click Add Material. Another window and click the menu arrow. You will see the material areas 3D-Age has. If you can take a screen shot of the material areas or type them, I might be able to give you directions to make it a partial dynamic sweater. It will then simulate better to her body. Here are a couple of tutorials that should help you understand partial dynamics and the Cloth Room. PhilC explains very well the Cloth Groups. It's how I learned to use the Cloth Room in Poser to get conforming clothes to fit better. In fact, if he is willing, he would be a good person to ask. He has a forum, I think. by dtacy1 http://www.daz3d.com/i/tutorial/tutorial/-/?id=2093 by PhilC http://www.philc.net/tutorial5.htm Let us know how you do. You can send me a site mail if you like. You are on the right track and asking good questions. As you have found out, Poser is a lot of trial and error until you get what you want. You are doing great!

Hi Callie Please try to use Manually Adj Morphs,I think that will get sitting better, and I hope that is what you want :)

Your coming along GREAT. Better than I am at remembering to give credits. You're doing the right method of doing "some" every day as you're getting started. The tutorial manual is fairly good as a reference (at least it was for me). Still looking, but not too hard, for that sportster chair. Hand positioning is looking better each time I see your work. :o)

I cannot help you because my english is very light but like the other answer i thing you must try the finger to adjust your cloth, only the sweet and the person, after if it is good save like "obj", and put this "obj" in your final pose. Without any "pretention" of my mind.
