Description

...loved the late afternoon light on this handsome tree in Everett, Washington's Evergreen Cemetery. ...a lot of googling and picking around in The Audubon Society's Field Guide to North American Trees failed to provide a positive identity...the bark leads me to think this is some variety of cedar...but we'll have to go back to look more closely at the needles/leaves...with Field Guide in hand:) ...If anybody knows, please let us know what you think. It's definitely not a mountain cedar, so I can love it without reserve, and I do. Beautiful tree and capture. Excellent lighting and POV.

Super POV to catch the right light and show off this massive trunk.
