Description
Parts of Poole Park Lake were frozen on Sunday morning. Someone had thrown a couple of tennis balls onto the ice. The seagulls thought they may be food.

Excellent capture! Seagulls are SO curious. My aunt and I were at the beach one day and enjoyed watching a seagull just above the surf line who had found a binkie. (Let's see ... what is that in British? Pacifier, teether, dummy ... the thing babies suck on to keep them happy.) The gull kept picking it up, trying to get the thing in its mouth, squawked, dropped it, started over. Over and over and over. We were in stitches! Unfortunately I didn't have a camera, so you'll just have to settle for the story.

But its the wrong shape for ice hockey... I like the reflection, Clive
