Description

Tradiotional clothing from Val Gardena as seen during the parade 'Gröden in Tracht' on the 7th of August of last year in St. Ulrich / Ortisei. Unfortunately it rained almost the whole day (the rain stopped for about 30 minutes, just enough to take some pictures). Therefor only 2 of the originally announced 20 groups showed up. The locals explained the reason for this: most of the clothes are originals and thus very old and valuable. So no risk of ruining the materials due to moisture and dirt. Hope you like these pics and thanks for your views and comments on my last upload, "Dolomiti #24". Enjoy your week, Paul
