Description
I went to this place yesterday. The sky was over cast so i got what I GOT. I got a lot of photos to post now.
the oak you see here is about 350 yes old as some Frenchman planted 28 oaks in two roles so a wagon can be driven between them. no one knows who it was but all the trees he planted is still there and will live about another 250 years as the live oaks life is around 600 years old. They find the roots goes all the way to the Mississippi Rive.
I will show the lines of trees soon in these shots I going to post. Now I just like to show you the size of the trees. They went thought a lot of storms over the years. The Home you see in the back was build in 1837-39 by Jacques I. Roman. it in a Greek Revived architecture
