Phoebe was new at the club, a real sweetheart and very pretty. She was a little shy at first but Serena broke the ice - curious more than anything else. Phoebe didn't seem like the sort of girl to be working in a place like that. Turns out she was working her way through college, majoring in mathematics of all things! She had a bit of an accent too - one Serena thought she recognized. "You wouldn't happen to be a Finn, would you?" Serena asked her. "I am!" Phoebe laughed. "How on earth did you know?" The wheels were turning in 'Serena the Matchmaker's head. A math-geek and a Finn. Hmmm. "Oh, I have a friend who's a Finn." And a math-geek himself...with no girlfriend or significant other. The trouble with Phoebe was, to all appearances, she was not one of them. If she was, she hid it well. No 'pointy-smile' but that didn't mean anything necessarily. "I should get you two together some time. At least for dinner or something." "Sure! That would be great. Hey, I'm going over to Wang's Kitchen across the street. You want to come too?" "Why not? Seth's on a trip, so...yeah! Just let me get dressed here, hon." "I'll go wait by the stairs. Thanks! I was hoping I could find somone to go with me.
