Description

Hi there folks...this was made with Daz4 pro..part of the crazy giveaway at daz..along with Bryce 7 Pro and Hexagon...YES, if you have not heard, go get them !!!!.limited time only i think so HURRY !!! I think it is still on at the moment...i have no idea why they are doing it but who am i to argue ?, trouble is i already brought Bryce and Hex.so on that score it is a bit annoying. Now if they gave away Carrara 8 i would be really happy :-) Anyway, back to Daz, takes a bit of fiddling to sort out how the UI works, but when you do it is looking fairly good, i have to find the best way to produce crisp images but that is part of the learning curve....fun in other words :-) Just a play with lights and stuff in this one. Cheers for the peek Please ZOOM

Got 'em. So far DS4 Pro has given me nothing but grief. It doesn't like the models I use and really kills the textures. Nice test that you have here, though.

I think it's pretty smart of them to do this. It expands their potential market for selling the products that go with these and making them and their vendors more money in the long run. People have funds to by outfits, models, etc. but how many people do you know have the cash to buy a full program like DSP4? Nickles and dimes add up after awhile. I wish VUE would wise up to that. As for your image here, Ian - I love the blue and the dark. It's great for the sorts of images you do! Is this using the Darkside module? It's a stunning piece. I've got them but haven't loaded them up yet. Hope I don't have Tholian's problems!

Great work on this one Ian I am just rendering one as I type in Daz4 Pro.. What a great giveaway I would be kicking myself if I had brought pro had thought about it but then wasn't to keen on the menu tab set up after using Daz 2 and 3.. But downloaded an add on called Darkside 1.2 that gives you the menu set up of Daz 2 and 3.. so love it now lol.. Did you look through Daz's software part? I found about 10 other free items that saved me over $900... so with the Daz 4 and Bryce 7 pro and Hex 2.5 saved nearly $1800 all up.. Check it out folks if you haven't don't know how long the specials will last.. Mind you its good strategy on their part gets more people into Daz with the Pro and using Genesis and selling more Genesis Items then to a wider base and V5 also to think of it...

Fantastic work and I always enjoy the zoom it shows the wonderful details. I downloaded the free pro daz 4, but didn't like the menu, but thanks to Bazza may give it another go.

excellent marketing strategy by daz,to attract more vendors to create for genesis and daz compatible in general. and i think i read something that maybe the ones who bought daz4 pro might get a voucher or something to equilibrate a bit. on the other hand getting bryce 7 pro and hexagon a fine deal man.

I got them downloaded.. Not installed yet, need to upgrade a couple of things first or massive crash will occur I fear! Mainly would love it for Bryce, that's the one I'd like to get to grips with most... Anyway, as for your effort with 'Pro' Mate! Its looks good to me, an Epic feel to this.. The POV is great and lighting as always COOL! lol Rob

Beautiful render. I have Daz Studio from the giveaway, and I can't get anything on the interface to work. The buttons don't do anything. Very strange.

Holy moly (I am trying to keep my language in check, lol). This is fantastic - an absolute MUST to view full-screen. I love the dark atmosphere you have in your work, and this is a simply outstanding example. The pov and the thrown shadow effect are just... stunning. I am running out of useful adjectives... wow! You looking for an apprentice? I make an outstanding cup of coffee! :D
