On my wanderings in the lands of Neo Victoria, in the workshop of the Great Artifax I was given this in trade for stories of my travels in other worlds... and my digital music player. The music player was immediately dismantled and examined by the full workshop crew. During the excitement I managed to pocket several other interesting items I may display another time. As I was casually making my way toward the door I caught a glimmer from the observation platform. What a creature she was, infinitely complex living clockwork wreathed in steam and scintillation. I was mesmerised and nearly forgot myself in awe watching her merely standing there. It was then that I realised that she was watching me. Watching while her servants were busy making a great uproar at every new component to come from my former device. Caught red handed and not knowing what else to do, I doffed my newly aquired head gear with a rougish grin and a courtly bow, activating the recall function on my translocation device. As the Great Workshop faded around me to be replaced with the safe, familiar environs of my own dwellings, the last thing I saw was her smile.
