Yeah, those can be anything touch panels make some detailing very easy. Of course I wouldn't even know where to begin on something like this.

I'm a Boeing retiree. I was surprised at the yokes and wheels when I first went to the Dreamliner site and downloaded a photo for wallpaper back before the rollout a few years ago. In 1970 I was in the engineering simulator laboratory at McDonnell in St. Louis. They had a ball theater with two F-X (not yet teh F-15) cockpits where one had steam guages and one had CRT's with vertical tapes. I met the sidestick controller through AGILE/Eagle in articles. The electronic flight bag is already being challenged by the iPAD. What's driving it all is not just good electonics but a physiological and psychological model of the human being. Boeing still sees a valid movement and leverage plan. I once told the guys at the gym that the human body not only has no muscles that push but the leverages in the limbs are all adverse like a bicycle to speed up and make efficient rather than slow down and make greater force. Find the windshield heater control in this. Just a silly detail.
