Born 1941. Yeah, I know, that's old. Live in Rome. Was raised in Buenos Aires, and still feel that as home. Work as a consultant in GIS (Geographical Information Systems). My hobby, or maybe my real profession, is South American history. My wife is a very well known (in her specialized world ) Roman archeologist. Our son is 30 years old, but hasn't decided to grow up yet. Deals in politics. We travel, at least an important travel each year.

Not so normal for south Sweden, where I am, but well central and northern (er, don't talk about it). And this is what they call global warming? Back in the 1970s they spoke of the coming new ice age. This fits better with that! This is a very nice photo. The yellow cast in the photo gives it a warm feeling amidst the cold. The wheel ruts in the snow, and the footprints add a lot of interest, as do the people walking, not knowing you're photographing them, too. Where are they going? Intersting that 3 carry umbrellas, but I see no snow falling. Another nice thing - you have excluded almost all lights; the light is coming from outside the scene. This adds a bit of drama. Very good job! Keep up the good work! :-)

Great shot. I like the yellow cast on the whole scene - somehow it looks natural. The way the cars are encased in snow makes them look like plaster casts to me...
