Die Vestalinnen waren die einzigen Priesterinnen Roms. Sie hüteten das ständig brennende heilige Feuer im benachbarten Tempel der Vesta und übten ihr Amt 30 Jahre lang aus. In dieser Zeit durften sie nicht heiraten. Unzucht mit Vestalinnen galt als Inzest und wurde dementsprechend bestraft. Nur der Kaiser und die Vestalischen Jungfrauen durften innerhalb der Mauern Roms bestattet werden. Les Vestales étaient les seuls prêtres de Rome. Ils regardaient le feu toujours brûlant sacré dans le temple voisin de Vesta, et ont exercé leur bureau de 30 ans à compter de long. Pendant ce temps, ils n'ont pas été autorisés à se marier. La fornication avec Vestales était considéré comme l'inceste, et a été puni en conséquence. Seul l'Empereur et les Vestales ont été autorisés à être enterrés dans les murs de Rome. The Vestal Virgins were the only priests of Rome. They were watching the ever-burning sacred fire in the neighboring temple of Vesta, and exercised their office 30 years from long. During this time they were not allowed to marry. Fornication with Vestal Virgins was considered incest, and was punished accordingly. Only the Emperor and the Vestal Virgins were allowed to be buried within the walls of Rome. Super Scene!
