Description
This is a collaborative piece by my self and my friend and favorite artist Kurt Lundqvist. I have admired his work since I started in the community and have always wanted to do a piece with him. One of the themes I love the most is The American West. His gallery features some amazing and masterful works portraying the American West so naturally they became my favorite of his pieces. So that was the theme I picked for this render, only with a little twist in the background. If any of you are familiar with the show Firefly and the movie Serenity you will pretty much get the idea. Kurt’s work has been my favorite for a long time because of the general I guess you can say context and content of it. He creates art in a wide range of genres. From the everyday Hero like Soldiers, Policemen, Firemen, Construction Workers, Cowboys, and Sports Heroes to just about every fantasy theme one can think of. They all express a great deal of emotion and creativity. The detail in his work and his use of colors is amazing but what you can see most in his work is his love for what he does.
I hope you all like this piece as much as I do. And a great thank you to Kurt for giving me the opportunity to do this with you.

I also recognized Lundqvist the second I saw this, and was very puzzled by the name I saw. I love that you got to collaborate with such a talented artist. I totally got the "Firefly" vibe the instant I saw it full sized. SOLID work. I have only one criticism, and it's a pointed one. :-) Whatever that is sticking out in front of his groin... uh... you guys need to edit that out. Is that the tip of a gun? Since I cannot clearly see the rest of it, it's just weirdly phallic. Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you, but it does seem out of place here. Anyway, I really like what you guys have done here!
