Description
I painted this with acrylics on canvas 24x36 inches
just finish it yesterday. if you see some wrong please tell me
wonder why i made the heads transparent. they here today gone tomorrow lol
some one ask if they was ghosts and why just see thought parts of them and not thought other parts? transparent heads and it just halve of the heads is transparent and the left parts of the arms is transparent.
The Cajun way of life around is die out as the old timers is die. they not gone yet so that why you see thought parts and other parts you do not see thought.
The Cajun music is strong now but no tell in the next 10 to 20 years as the culture language and way of life is fading.

I always gravitate towards your paintings when I come to your gallery. Your practice of not painting exactly as you see, but more as you feel is one of the strengths of your work. It is a rare thing to capture emotions the way you do. This is beautiful. There is wonderful motion and festivity. I like the paintings on the wall, the lady's expression, and the shading of his shirt.

Yeah. It's just so sad that so many things that made this country are slowly disappearing. It's a big loss I think, to have all the old ethnic ways fade away. So many wonderful traditions, and ways of cooking, and languages .. all slowly going the way of the dinosaurs .. A wonderful painting Jock, with some strong meanings.
