Description

Aragorn, son of Arathorn, and Daenerys of the House Targaryen are having a conversation... Daenerys: "So, okay, Aragorn...tell me, what are you actually doing here? Aren't you a little out of place?" Aragorn: "Not really, Khaleesi...I..ehh.." Daenerys: "You can call me Dany, that's OK..." Aragorn:"Well, Dany, it's just...I just wanted to see you, and maybe get back into business. There's not much going on in Gondor..." Daenerys (laughing knowingly):"Oooh, so you need some..action again! I don't think that's the whole story...Where's Arwen?" Aragorn: " Forget about Arwen, she's history..narh..but you're right! Actually I'm a bit jealous. That other Danish wannabe actor, I don't want him to get too much attention!" Daenerys: "What Danish actor...?" Aragorn: "That Jamie Lannister guy... Nikolaj Cost..mfffpf.. I can't even speak his name!" Daenerys: Oh, him..haha..don't worry, he'll never be as tough as you, and his English is lousy!" Aragorn"I'm not so sure, he's good looking and all. And I really don't want him to take ove the Throne as the Danish Hollywood Hero number one! Daenerys: "Ha! So it IS a Game of Thrones after all..." *Those of my dear viewers not familiar with "Lord of the Rings" and "Game of Thrones" won't understand too much of this, but anyway...* A little related: "Arwen & Aragorn: Romance on the Bridge"

This is really well done Lars....she looks so real to the series character....now if she had her new babies on her shoulder....my wife would be all smiles. In last years last moments when they crawled up on her shoulder and spread their wings...my wife was on the edge of her seat. Your posing is so natural...this looks like a still from the series. Keep up the wonderful work you have been doing...very inspiring. 5+

Fun work! The very omni-directional lighting makes the materials look even more realistic than usual, though I miss your beautiful shadows and light. I had to look up what you were talking about. It's funny; I'm a huge fantasy fan and have been reading sf and fantasy since I could read (using my dad's extensive library), but I don't like Martin at all and I'm not that into Tolkien. Both great writers, though, which is more than I can say for a lot of fantasy that hits the mainstream. It's a well done scene and would be tons of work for a normal artist, but for you it seems like a quickie in comparison to your other works. The horses' poses are very natural, but for me there's something slightly off about the humans. They have a good sense of gravity, like they're actually sitting on their horses, but something about their arms and head positions seems awkward. Overall, though, it's nice fan art.
