I am a professional firefighter. I have been engaged in art since I was about 6 years old (Thanks Mom). I hold a degree in architecture and that is where my true love for art formulated. I've worked with computers since 1970. I started off with Fortran programing. Technology was very fast paced at that time. Keeping up with the trend, I was able to stay in the mix. My first computer was a Macintosh. That was the shit at the time. Then the PC arrived. I was hooked on that for countless years until I discovered the benefits of Apple and my connection to it. All that I can say is that if you're working on a PC with Poser, you have no idea. I first discovered this secretive 3D medium in 2005. I started with Poser 5. Glad that I started there (not too particular concerning previous versions). To me, V3 was and is still the most manipulable of all characters since. The morphs are truly unique to the chacter. I hardly ever use V3 now. I believe in morphing standard characters to my own particular liking as so to make them my own, One of a kind. To me, Poser is by far the leading character production program. I sometimes use Vue and always PSCS4 for any postwork.

beautiful portrait

Beautiful expression, hair and skin texture. There is a dark shadow line between her lips that I really like. I was wondering if you added AO to her teeth to get the effect. And thanks for pointing out my hair problem on the last one. I really do appreciate that. The only thing I would do to it is soften the dark line of her lower jaw where it crosses her neck. I have to do that a lot in photoshop.

Toxic. It all has to do with lighting.

The lips, eyes and face look good. The hair seems slightly less realistic. I don't use Poser so cannot recommend a way to improve it unfortunately. I would recommend any hair sets by Out of Touch for realism at the current level of technology. In the future, I expect to see fibermesh hair made in zBrush hitting the content market which will be even better.

You get always a lot of views with nudity tagged images... and with old lokomotives; that's a weird thing :) In my gallery it's about 100:1. You get more comments if you give a lot of comments to the images of the other members, but this will take a lot of time, if you want to write more than just a "very nice". It's a very beautiful portrait so far. Agree about the hair with takoyaki8. But it's the best what you can do with hair currently, looks always a bit less realistic in close up renders. The other thing is: I really don't like your thumbnails. Seems to be a genial idea, because every one has to click to see your images. But there is no overview and browsing through you gallery is boring and every one will give up after 5 clicks. A thumbnail with an interesting detail or pretty face would make your gallery much more inviting.
