Description

Two of Carla's colony of black cats are very emotional felines. After some ambushing I suceeded in catching them hugging! For all of you! Thanks for your kind comments.

Cats DO require a lot of photographic patience, and black cats doubly so. I only say this because I've attempted photographing black cats (at close range) at precisely the time they decided it was time to sniff the camera lens. I have blurry cat-nose images to show for that, and I have to say that this shot is immensely better! I love the way in which you capture both feline grace and feline indifference to the unimportant aspects of existence surrounding them. Cats have such wonderful focus, even when they don't appear to be focusing ON anything! Brilliant! I love the way you saw and captured this!
