That is NOT me in the picture!
Thanks for visiting my gallery! If you were redirected here from Culture Crunch, you will find the "alternate versions" of Didi and Kelly here, as well as a few prototypes, if you look hard enough.
Once upon a time, I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be cool to make pictures of people on the computer?" Of course, at the time, I was thinking more along the lines of Max Headroom, but when Poser came out, I knew I had to have it. Yes, folks, I am one of the lucky few who has been using Poser since version 1!
Most people would agree that Poser 4 was the turning point, where it went from being a reference tool to a way to make real pictures (I won't say "real art") in its own right. Then came along someone named Victoria... And the rest is history!
Recently I've been getting into DAZ Studio quite a bit. I'm also trying to wrap my mind around LuxRender.

Lovely image,
Faemike55
Since I've never worked with either studio, I cannot say which image came from where, but I can see the difference in the skin tone the one on the left has a darker (just slightly) skin tone than the one on the right. although the jeans on teh right are darker than the one on the left. at least that is how I see it and to answer the unasked question, my gamma is adjusted

I think there is something wrong with Faemike's monitor. The skin, shirt, and pants are exactly the same color in both images!

"Hey, there seems to be something wrong with my eyes! I'm seeing double! Where's the phone number to my optometrist? Where is it now. I can't find it. 'cause I can't see it!" - T.Rex. Er, T.Rex is NOT thinking double lunch. That's a GOOD sign! And, I don't see any difference between the two images. If the one is a duplicate in vector form in Anime Studio, there shouldn't be a difference unless there's a color shift (which I can't detect). But 3 hours? That seems rather long! Why this excercise in converting? Seems like a very time consuming experiment to me. And, "Hey, Helen! You look nice and soft and cuddly! Just like someone I'd like in my lap! Happy Valentine's Day! Too bad I can't send you a card and a box of chocolate over the Internet." - T.Rex. (Oops. What's going on here?) And, a Happy Valentine's Day to Didi, too. And to you, too, MrGorf! Keep up the good work! :-)

Ha, that's hard to decide (putting the magnifier aside)! The right one is vectorized. The line endings have the mark, and most of all: You would not draw the ring finger of her right hand that sharpley. In all I prefer the vectorized version due to the softness and elegance of it's lines. Well done and worth the time, I guess!

I have to admit my heart skipped a beat in hopes of Didi... I have her valentine as my desktop :P IS there a difference between these two images?

Well regardless of which is which - you've really perfected the character to match what you had previously described. It really is an excellent drawing. (I'd say the one on the right is Anime Studio)
