Happy Valentine Day Everyone!
I used one of my own WinterMoods Backgrounds for this one with a bit of a tweak! lol
A Story of Love ...
Bo the Snow Leopard was a small cub when the princess's father gave him as a gift for his child, just before wars of their world.
Bo never left the little princess's side for all the years that the war continued.
The princess grew up and learnt how to become a warrior as her father had taught her, Bo loyally watch her every move and knew that he would go to war with his beloved princess, when it was time.
Soon the time did come, and the princess mounted her horse, but imagined Bo would stay behind; he never did, it was not an option. He fought alongside his princess until all the dreadful people of the darklands had been chased back to their homeland in defeat.
As they were leaving the darklands leader turned without warning, and threw a dreaded spear which punctured the princess and she fell to the ground! "Oh no", Bo roared. "Please don't die as your father did before you", the old Bo roared a long mournful noise, he could not leave her side. Everyone had long gone and they were high up on a mountain with their castle in sight below. Then the snow began to fall and Bo instinctively lay over her to keep her warm, she was still alive.
The dawn broke in that far off world and with joy a search party had come to find their soon to be queen. Bo had saved her life and as soon as she had healed there was great joy in their Ice Kingdom.
Now it was time to play and to laugh and to smile again, but most of all Bo had ... OH! so missed his ears being scratched by his beloved princess ... Oh! yes that was the ultimate joy for him. The princess smiled as she lazily swung on her swing, and as she looked down she could swear that Bo was smiling right back at her.
The princess went on to be crowned queen, and reigned alongside her favourite Snow Leopard for many many years, and peace reigned forever in the Ice Kingdom. THE END ...

credits for my painting - I used CS4 and Wacom Intuos3 tablet and pen. The Leopard is all painted and the painted princess too is a figment of my own imagination, Hmm wish I looked like that lol! and her castle is painted too, plus the swing. Then I used others amazing brushes for the rest of the painting
