Bryce 7
Playing around with metaballs for creating some simple fantasy objects with merged materials. Sky/lighting = IBL with sunlight enabled.
Rendertime: 28 minutes in superfine mode.

This looks great Sue. I never used Bryce, but this image looks a lot like an MB3D image. I would think the 2 programs would likely be a good compliment to each other
