Description
I'm a poser newbie and this is my first render. Any constrctive criticism is appreciated.
-------------------------------------------
I started with Vickie 2, then I used Kiera and Blackhearted's Frazella facial morph and Texture.
I used Dark Whisper's Candy Hair but modified the texture to make her a redhead.
I also used Cake One's Real eyes.
I then finished with a little Post production in Photoshop.

Terrific expression. Got one tip for you. Whatever camera you are using check the top dial when it is selected and move the focal length higher than 70. The default is 28mm and it's way too narrow. I use between 100 and 200, myself, but it's a subjective thing, over 70 gets you out of fisheye lens country. Even the textures look better. Wait a minute! You used Real Eyes on your first render??? That's great!!

Thanks queri for the comments, especially the advice about camera focal length. I cant wait to get home and try it out.

nice work, especially for a first attempt :) i still cringe when i think of my first attempts, they were horrible :) this is good - my only suggestions would be to echo the focal length tip that queri gave you (i use between 88-100), and that you sjhould take it into photoshop and paint some soft shadows underneath the necklace - its the little details like that that add so much to an image. cheers, -gabriel

Gabriel, Thank you for your advice. Your advice has special meaning for me, because I am especially fond of your mophs and textures. I am constantly searching through the forums to glean information on techniques to experiment with to make my images better. Everyone's dvice has been a great benefit to me. I'm just amazed by poser and it's ability to give substance to my imaginings.
