Being a painter, Evie is very conscious of colors. She often mixes her own paints, based on a few secrets she learned when Guido thought she wasn't looking or listening. That is, she's a bit of an alchemist in the very material sense. She's been working with a company in her native France to develop what she hopes is something a bit revolutionary in matching lip and nail-colors. The polish is more or less translucent, while the lipstick is a rich, creamy matte-finish. They will be working on a glossy matching lipstick as well, but this is a step in the right direction! Behind her is one of her more mundane paintings - the ones she does for Stavros, who has a fondness for landscapes. She well could be her own spokesmodel, couldn't she? ***** In reality, it is me that's excited - lol. I finally figured out how to save Evie's textures with a little help from a lovely lady who's been most gracious in providing me with some bits of direction. I loaded Evie's lips, nails and makeup by *clicking* on them instead of in the Material Room...and that's a step in the right direction! After many hours of experimenting, what I've done here is - from all I've seen - something really different with lips and nails from the usual. I don't know if it'll fly but I'm going to give it a try. The colors match perfectly and with very little muss or fuss about it. Now I need to experiment some more for the glossy lipsticks, but I think I know how to do that now. I'm a happy camper now. Today was a good day all around and it's about time!!
