Hi friends, this is my last post here... I am leaving Renderosity after 12 good/cool years.
I would like to thanks all your support, comments and FV (images and artist) that surely makes me enhance like an CG hobbyist and person.
There are many reasons to contribute with my decision... but the mainly one, is the ridiculous rules of RR. Now the links I post to credit the images/authors that I use to compose my artworks are considered off site linking and advertising.
"You are directing people through an active link to a site outside of Renderosity when you give credit in this way. Off-site linking is strictly prohibited, as is off-site advertising."
I can't agree with these rules, unfortunately!
If you are interested I will post my images in Deviantart... my nicknamme is MoodyBlue there.

See you at dA then my friend, I am there also "Len1" I was a member/administrator at the old deceased SeventhComplex and we had the same rules for "Live" direct Offsite Links in the Gallery(they are not even Live here, you have to copy and paste)Live links were allowed in the Forums and User Blog Pages though, all members had a Blog Page and could active link from the gallery image to his Blog to give offsite credit Links. Rendo has no truely Interactive community Forums or User Blog pages though, kinda screwed here. I've been a member at dA almost as long as Rendo but just in the last 6 months became actively posting there, I have to say it's a lot more Interactive and Fun for the individual member than here. At Rendo you aint nothing if you're Not a Vendor making Money for the Company. Peace

I was so pleased to see this image, it's fabulous!!!... until I read your words... :-((( and I sympathise with you! 100% (!!) (always thought it was so fair & considerative of you) but the impact your decision will have won't affect 'RR' as much, 'cause you will be truely ('sorely' a proper word in this context?) and really, really missed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is very saddening. wished I could say it's 'their loss' (and they are losing 1 of the best artists), but in fact it's 'ours'!!! (or is it 'me'? this socalled 'community' somehow feels like 'family' (here) and many of you are so very dear to my heart... THX for all, Take care pls & CY @ DA!!! :-D
