Gee, I can see snow right outside my window, LOL! The mountains around Abraham Lake would have more snow than that even after melting all summer. Anyway, I know it is unusual to see snow where you are, and this is a very lovely view with the layers of color going lighter as you look farther in the distance. The thing about getting snow where it is unexpected is that few homes are built there with adequate insulation, so when it does get cold, people have trouble keeping warm even inside. Layering is the key, throw on an extra sweater or pair of pants, or extra socks. If you can keep your feet warm, your body will usually feel warm.
