Description

UNSHARP (!) pic 'for a change' Elza, Frieda & Prins in action mode... this was sooo stupid! (!) last spring I found 2 old rolls of film, just expired and decided to get my ancient beloved Minolta 8000i from under the dust. hadn't used it for years (remember what rolls of film used to cost? AND development? ;-D) and also had experienced some probs with film transportation, worn out no doubt. ;-) my cameras are often set to aperture priority mode. so while standing on that acre, all geared up, I 'just' could not remember how to set the shutter speed -again- in M (some weird combination of a knob and a wheel, I recall) how stupid is that?!! kinda love the motion blur on the feet. was not too thrilled about the rest!!! ;-D don't underestimate the 'speed' of the horsies, despite all heavy work (they already 'melted' ;-)), one can't keep up with them -while walking-. therefore no time (or room) to back up (100-300mm lens and about to get run over at the end of the field). but on the negative they do have hooves! and there is soil too. and Prins has just the right amount of air above his ears. so what? long story about a pic that is not sharp!!! *bummerrr* also brought a 24mm and using that 1 made me realize how much I'd missed the ol' SLR -some FX lol-.

Beautiful! Films could be expensive, problematics,etc. But nothing on digital photography can overcome the smelly, wet, but wonderful darkroom. I loved it.
