Nicely observed and composed, my friend. The sunshine and ferns promise better weather ahead ( I hope ;o) ). I can almost hear the bees, a grasshopper, feel the gentle wind, smell the distant wood smoke. and I want to explore further ( even though my grandmother told me coming on sixty years ago, not to go any more than two or three hours on foot from her farm ... mmm..
