Description

Been a while since I've been on here...working on a couple of colored pencil drawings...tried crayola crayons, but went through a whole box of 120 in one sitting and didn't like them. Still, they are cheap to replace more than these Prismacolor Pencils, and the crayons tasted better too. I ended up "selling" two of my airbrush portraits to a lady in Florida. I say "selling" loosely because I have yet to recieve payment for them. That really sucks. Next time I make sure to ask for and recieve payment beforehand...

artists are always taken advantage of... I did some work for a lady that worked with my Mom... she always loved my work and took care of me.... My Mom retired, I went with her a few moths after she had retired and the lady (Laverne) saw me and was so excited and she said she needed my artistic skills.... I gave her the work - trusting her... after months of not getting anything, I called her up and she told me she was going to give my art back - lol... I told her I didn't want the battlestar gallactica pictures I made for her, I wanted my money.... she was the one the set the price too - I never got paid and she even had a lawyer friend of hers write me a legal letter telling me to never contact her again - my Mom and I both couldn't believe it.... NEVER TRUST ANYONE WHEN IT COMES TO PAYMENT FOR ART - I always ask for half up front and the other half upon completion... the face you did here, is that the actor from the Twilight movies? looks like him - I'm not into that movie, but I do think you did a great job capturing his characteristics.

I actually dont like the Crayolas either, thought I was the only one LOL Nice work here! I do wish you had gotten paid for the work, sorry to hear that. :-(
