Description

Today was blue skies and cold weather..perfect for walking..which is what I did! This photo has so many characteristics of the landscape of north Derbyshire..limestone walls, the hills and wide views. Lovely area very close to my home, so I'm lucky! Do zoom in as there's plenty to see. We did a circular walk from Hartington and the ridge in the background, looking like a real mountain, is Chrome Hill. Beautiful shot! I'm in awe of those stone walls, I can't even begin to imagine how long people must have worked to make them. Several generations, I suspect. Still, it sure makes for a very lovely scene!
