Back in Nov 2011 we were on vacation in Ct and decided to ride the train into New York City. When we were only two stops from NYC, people started coming up to the conductor, talking to him and pointing at someone behind us. All of a sudden they announced that we were stopping for a police emergency and everyone had to get off of the train. We exited the train at the Pelham, Ny stations and stood around on the train platform. 3 police cars stopped at the station and came up on the platform to talk to the conductor. They walk past me and my wife then pulled a young man over by the train just 2 feet in front of us, handcuffed him and searched him. I could have reached out an touched them. They told everyone to go across the street to stand in front of, of all places, a cemetery. A couple of more police cars showed up and they lead a bomb sniffing dog out of one of the cars. They let him do his business on a bush then he went sniffed the train cars. After he cleared the cars, a police man came out carrying the young man's backpack at arms length, like he wanted nothing to do with that backpack. Then they let us back on the train and we went on to NYC... Can you believe it, I only took 2 pictures and I had my camera with me!!!
