Description
This is another shot of this ancient volcano plug, in Wyoming, which has been left after 50 millions of years of erosion It is a religious site for all the Indian tribes for miles around.
The nearest we have to this in the UK is the Cribbs Causeway in Northern Ireland where the solidified columns of molten rock can be seen more clearly.

I have been to Devil's Post Pile in Mammoth National Park in the Sierra Nevada's. These formations are amazing to see for sure!! Nice capture of them.

I'd love to see this place! I crossed a fair bit of water to see the Giant's Causeway, maybe someday I'll cross a fair bit of land to see the Devil's Tower. Beautiful capture! Wonderful POV, detail, and light. I like the composition, with the boulders and tree in the foreground and the tower rising like a behemoth in the distance.
