Description
I offer this render as a matter of thanksgiving for graces received. As the old UK TV clip show used to proclaim "It'll be alright on the night!" And how true that is. Last night I was giving a presentation on the season of Lent. I had invested a great deal of time and effort in it. The venue, audience and circumstances were all changed at the last minute. I found this initially most challenging, daunting even, but then as I was wished good luck by a friend, I felt strangely peaceful, filled with light, if not light headed ... The experience was most liberating as well as unexpected. I proceeded to enjoy my presentation immensely. I wound up by the end, leaving my self and the very responsive crowd wanting more, and yet the day had started with a series of catastrophes, piled each on the other. I had advised a friend facing a similar ordeal that "God will provide". Well last night He certainly did. I am still walking on air ( and no I haven't been at the painkillers again .. ;o) ) I apologise for going on so. The Render was produced in the classic TERRAGEN 0.9 landscape rendering program, using the same modified terrain ( .TER ) file from Danny_Gordon's freebies in Renderosity, as my last offering. The atmosphere and viewpoint are drastically different. They remind me of parts of the coastline on the north east coast of Northern Ireland, where I spent many a precipitous afternoon, exploring cliffs, caves and headlands, as a boy. In today's 'nanny state' I would no doubt be locked up for even telling my grandsons some of those scrapes I got into, and got out of in those far off times..... Of course, with TERRAGEN I can get into even more interesting places, and live to tell the tale .. I thank all who view this image, and those whose imaginations are still open to the marvels of Creation, and what Tolkien called sub-creation. Goodnight and God bless all. If tonight He calls you, reply "Here I am, Lord". You will not be disappointed.. John
