Description
Today we had very heavy rains. when I went to work this morning I saw that the water level was rising. However after the rains, at about 1330, I headed for home via the shortcut
What you are seeing is the low point at the east end of the trail. I rode through it and my pedals just got damp.
There are several other spots that are 'damp' and I will post them today as well.

Might be a little wet on the feet sitting on that bench... There's something rather refreshing about a few days of rain - as long as the water level doesn't get too high.. Cool shot, Mike! Love your route to work!

Looks like the lake/pond is encroaching on the shore. I'd bike here in day light because I can see the curve of the path/land, but after dark, er, no thanks! Nice ripples on the water, even where it's shallow - this suggests some wind. Your short cut looks like a quite nice one, despite the wet adventures! Nice job with the photo series. Keep up the good work! :-)
