Description

this is that shiny spot at the top of the path in the previous photo. If you recall the image "just a touch damp" this is the runoff from that area, going into the Wahougal River. it was a touch weird riding through this rushing water, but still very cool #4 is coming up and it shows just how 'different & daring' I am.

Beautiful series of photos. I wonder how well the path is holding up - this can undermine it and carry it away. As for bicycling through it, it's like any big, deep puddle except that the water is moving. I used to get my legs real wet biking through something like this. Wet pants and shoes full of water. OK in summer, but not with ice cold water during the thaw. You seem to have some beautiful areas to bike through on your way to work! Keep up the good work! :-)

Mike, I love this and even with my fear of foreign waters I would probably dip my toe into the rushing waters and giggle...lol

SEE those rocks to the left? after this is dried up, find some other rocks to put over there so when this happens again, you can keep your feet dry.... I have puddles to walk through coming home from work, but not like this.
