Description

Standing at Trafalgar Square chatting to a passer-by. I heard him playing on Westminster Bridge as well, quite haunting hearing the skirl of the pipes over the River Thames. My sister used to do Highland and Irish dancing, so I came to enjoy the sound at the various gatherings we attended in Johannesburg. I did a bit of selective desaturation to pull him out of the clutter. Clive

The sign says 'Do not feed the birds' but I bet they stay away when he's playing!! Super work on this Clive and I do like the sound of the pipes too.

Nicely done! I love the sound of bagpipes. One evening last summer we were out camping with friends in a remote location, and a guy showed up and played the pipes sort of off across the clearing. It was beautiful!

There is nothing like the sound of a massed Highland Military band.. But, this will do as our Government has got rid of most of the bands! I think I've heard this guy as well.... Great shot... Nice postwork as well.. :-) I'm not moaning at your pictures mate.. I just wish it was better for everyone and not the illusion you see.. Take care.. Rob
