Description
I can hardly believe nearly a month has passed since I last uploaded a photo, "Electric Lady Bug".
It's been a good month for me. My husband and I took a trip to Santa Barbara for Valentine's Day. Inspiration galore! I haven't finished viewing all I took, and believe me.. there are more than a few! So I am in the process of deleting, picking and choosing.
This photo was taken in my backyard today. I just love these lillies. They are so beautiful. I tried my hand at taking some monochrome pics, as I discovered something else my camera can do. I am not super thrilled with them, but I plan on going back out earlier in the day when there is less shade on the flowers. Practice practice practice :)

Ooooh, Kathryn Hepburn would have loved this shot of the Calla lilies! Nice soft focus and subtle frame on this one, Melinda. And how can you afford to drive back and forth to Santa Barbara with gas prices being what they are?
