Description
For international viewers: This photo shows an art installation in a Sydney laneway. They've commissioned some artworks, presumably in the mistaken belief that you can buy culture - they're still not as cool as Melbourne, but they try hard.
I'm not going to pretend I'm happy with this image - I'm really not. You may have picked that up in the "ironic" lomo processing - after all, that's how the cool kids make bad pictures better, right?
I still think there's potential in this installation, but this composition is too busy to be effective.

Oh, I disagree about it being too busy. There's a lot there, yes, but the repetition of shapes gives the composition a nice cohesion. I like this very much!
