My name is Shiloh Steinhebel and I am a graduate of the Art Institute of Portland. I completed a four-year course and earned a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in their Game Art and Design program and maintained a 3.0+ GPA throughout the course. My focus as a 3D Artist is towards 3D texturing, 3D modeling in low- and high-poly (props, objects, and hard-surface - some organic), and 3D Lighting. I also focused on digital painting and photography used as reference material, textures, and concept development.Â
While attending the Art Institute of Portland I developed and created various "A"-quality works that gained instructor and classmate recognition. These works were displayed in open-house galleries and included drawings, renders of 3D models, and photographs. I also collaborated and directed a team of eight 3D artists as a 2D Art Lead, 3D Modeler, and Texture Artist for development of game assets for an Unreal Tournament 3 game mod titled "Endless Skies."Â
My proficiency in digital content creation software includes Photoshop, Maya, 3DS Max, Mudbox, Zbrush, Mari, and BodyPaint. I am also proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows, Apple OS, Wacom Technology, and various photography equipment.Â
I'm a laid-back and intelligent individual who is serious when needed, proficient in attention to details, takes direction well, and I am a great listener. I work great with others as can take leadership if necessary. I also work very well by myself if left to work with my own workflow, or if needed I am capable of adopting new workflows. I have had extensive experience in working under deadlines while maintaining quality and completion.Â
I currently work as a Freelance 3D Artist, developing and creating complete 3D props for clients. However, I am currently in search of a position at a game or animation studio to further my experience and become a great addition to their team of artists. As such, I am willing to relocate for my career. If you like what you have seen in my portfolio and believe I would be an excellent addition to your artistic team, please contact me at SASteinhebel@Gmail.com.
