A magnificent capture and fine photograph, Richard! Most excellent! You asked how I got the clothes to flatten in my recent render. All you do is select the body of whatever clothing you wish to flatten. Make sure it isn't conformed to any character. Then set the z scale to around 5%. You can play around with that to suit your own preference. It is quite an easy way to flatten out your clothing in this way. Then you can still play around with the other movements on the clothes by selecting individual parts and get a more realistic look to the clothes. Positioning the clothes in your scene is easy as well. I find it easiest just to select the body of the clothing and use the xtran, ytran or ztran dials to place the item in the scene. The rotate dials work too but can get tricky sometimes. Happy rendering, Richard, and thanks for your comments. I appreciate your question and hope this explanation was useful for you.
