MEADOW. This pic shows the different ways the girls can come back to me when I blow the whistle.
Jasmine is "Yep, I am on my way as quick as I can, (ears & tongue akimbo) as I know there is a treat waiting.
Meadow on the other hand is "Ok, I will get to you as soon as I have looked here, checked here, is that something there" Then I start towards her, as I am going to tell her in no uncertain terms that I did call her & give her what for but just before I reach her she turns & starts to come to me as much as to say "Sorry did you want me, oh & is there a treat for me?" So I carn't tell her off as she did eventually come to me, Grrrrrr :o)

Super comparison of the two. Excellent captures. Meadow is more like our Misty all the time. When Misty was about 1 year old. Glenda let her off the leash on a walk. Ended up following her all over the neighborhood trying to get her back. She would look over her shoulder to make sure Glenda was coming and then take off just as Glenda got close and go check out some other neighbor's yard. This was a wonderful time for Misty but Glenda certainly did not find it fun. :)

I'll bet most of us here on RR are like Meadow...I can get up to do one thing and find 13 other things to do enroute to the first thing. lol. Has something to do with age.

Great comparison between the two of them Barbara Must say I'm like meadow and Bill lol getting up to do one thing end up checking out something totally unrelated then final get where I was going thinking "now what was I here for" oh that's right that's what I was suppose to be doing lol.. I think its an age thing too.. Cool captures of the two of them!!

I can see (in my head) Jasmine running, tail high and tongue all over the place. I can also see Meadow wandering in you general direction but working her way toward you in a zig-zag fashion checking out everything and anything that my be on her way. It is funny how different they are.

LOL, Meadow! Murphy does the same thing to me! When I call him to come in, he all of a sudden remembers he has to go poop yet, which is what he was supposed to do in the first place, but of course there was this smell that side-tracked him, and that bird that called to him, and then there was that leaf that the wind blew in the yard that needed to be examined, and he forgot what he was supposed to do until I hollered at him to come in, giggles. Love the comparison between the two. I would've thought that Jasmine would've been the one to have to examine all the interesting things before responding to your whistle!
