Description

A group of wa'a wa'a (Hawaiian outriggers) cross the Pacific... with, of course, some 'a (black-footed albatrosses) joining in the seaward trek. Since I don't do too much in DAZ Studio, I thought using DS4 would be a great opportunity to use/test my latest project (Polynesian watercraft) along with some DS water (I'm betatesting for a fellow PA-- I guess it killed two cats with one stone (note: I don't harm birds ). Getting all those polynesian rowers in DS was a challenge. I ended up positioning a crew on one boat, saving it out and then merging it back in the scene many times. To finish things off, I threw in a few of my Songbird ReMix Albatosses and voila! Rendered in DS4 Pro with no postwork. Credits: 27 M4s with Virtual_World's "Jerome" and various tweaks on "International Morphs"; Sea (Age of Armour) and Hawaiian Voyager wa'a wa'a and Songbird ReMix Seabirds (Ken Gilliland)

Excellent scene, well done with all those figures on their Pacific voyage and of course birds which always make a final finishing touch to an image. Jan

Great job! I'm still mucking about in DS4 like a fish out of water. Be a while before I can do an image of this caliber! It sure can do some nice things but it crashes on my Mac all the time...

Great scene. Love the boats and that water looks fantastic. Your PC must really have some grunt to have all those models in the scene at one time. Amazing.
