Description
Note: the full sized image has much better detail!
This is the "final" version of the previous image, and was submitted as an entry for inclusion in the new book on DS4 (though I doubt it will get selected). I ditched the suit of armor in the previous image because I couldn't get the shaders to look quite right, added the bookshelf, bookstand, and other items to give a bit more interest to the image. I also modified her pose just a bit.
This is a pure DS4/3Delight render - no postwork other than resizing and adding the sig. Thanks to everyone who gave suggestions on the WIP and provided technical help, I think this is much better (though I doubt it will make it into the book). I think I might be getting a bit more comfortable with DS4 now. I know I shure learned a lot working on this render.
Thanks for looking! As always comments, suggestions, and constructive criticism are appreciated!

I love the blending of realism and the somewhat toon-like face. Just wonderfully well done. I hope I can manage something near to this quality some day.

This is nothing short of phenominal! I've said it before... I would have thought it was done in Poser Pro 2012 if I didn't know otherwise. G4 looks absolutely amazing, and your lighting is perfect! If this doesn't make it into the book, the publisher is blind.... FANTASTIC work! I can see I have a looooong way to go with DAZ4 (Picked up a copy of 3DW with the V5 cd yesterday, BTW)

Something I think is good with your character is that she maintains her curves yet she actually has enough muscle definition to look like she could swing a sword/staff/mace/etc. Fantasy images don't always pull that off.

Exellent work!
